Before Multiview Positioning Platforms: Wasted Time
Before this innovative product hit the market, radiology technicians would have to move patients multiple times to get all the images they needed for A/P, oblique, lateral, and other views.
Patients also had to steady themselves the best they could, because movement could compromise the quality of the images and result in costly retakes.
In a nutshell, the multiview imaging process was repetitive and time-consuming, resulting in frustration and fatigue for both the patient and the radiology tech. CiD knew there had to be a better way.
After Multiview Positioning Platforms: Happy Techs, Happy Patients
In consultation with a leading medical imaging facility, CiD designed the first positioning platform that had multiple imaging panel locations.
Now, instead of moving the patient multiple times, the radiology tech could position the patient on the platform, put the panels into place, and they were ready to take the shots.
The time to take multiple images had virtually been cut in half. Plus, because the design included grab bars, patients had a safe way to steady themselves as the images were taken. No more costly retakes.
